About this license
Draft — pending owner approval. These License Terms are not final and are not ready for production use. Proposed effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE].
CookThisApp is operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. Contact: [CONTACT EMAIL]. A Cook offers a Dish, an app source-code listing. A Buyer obtains a License, permission to use the recorded Dish version under the selected tier. A Kitchen Report is an automated assessment, not a warranty or an ownership certificate.
The Cook retains copyright in their own work. This draft describes the proposed standard grant; it does not claim that issuance creates an owner-approved commercial agreement.
Scope and record
The proposed grant is non-exclusive and tied to the Buyer account, recorded version and tier. Your order and License record identify what you obtained. Keep the license file and applicable copyright and third-party notices. License issuance and archive inclusion use a shared text version so the version associated with your purchase can be identified.
A source-code purchase does not transfer the Cook's copyright, trademarks, third-party accounts or rights the Cook does not own. Credentials, hosting, domains and paid external services are not included merely because the app uses them.
Personal tier
You may use and modify the Dish for yourself, learning and personal side projects. Personal does not permit use in your business, operation as your own SaaS or building for clients. Choose Commercial for those uses.
Commercial tier
You may use and modify the Dish in your own business, operate it as your own SaaS and build for unlimited clients. Distribution needed to run your application or deliver a client project must remain within that purpose; it does not grant a separate right to sell or publicly distribute the source as a reusable product. Clients do not receive an independent marketplace resale right.
Restrictions and other licenses
Neither tier permits reselling the source as-is, uploading it to another marketplace or publishing it in a public repository. Do not remove license notices or watermark identifiers to conceal unauthorized sharing, or share access to your account or signed download links.
A future Remix tier and automated royalties are not granted by a Personal or Commercial License. A lineage declaration alone does not grant remix resale rights. A free Dish explicitly offered under MIT follows its MIT terms rather than these standard tiers; no CookThisApp License is issued for that route. Third-party components retain their own license conditions.
Archives and updates
Delivery uses a per-License watermarked archive with LICENSE-COOKTHISAPP.txt, identifying the License and terms version. Signed links expire after 15 minutes. The limit is 20 downloads per License, per version, per day. Request a new link through your account while entitled. Download logs retain time, hashed IP address, user agent and archive hash as evidence.
Your entitlement includes the purchased version and only the updates recorded for the purchase. It does not promise all future versions or ongoing support. Deleting a Cook account or unpublishing a Dish does not by itself end an existing Buyer's purchased-version access. Deleting your Buyer account ends authenticated access through that login without by itself revoking the legal License.
Refunds and access restrictions
A full refund revokes the License; stop using the refunded code and delete copies except records you must legally retain. An admin decision states the effect of a partial refund. A chargeback freezes the License and downloads while unresolved. If won by the platform, the License is restored unless another independent restriction applies.
Copyright or policy investigations may separately restrict availability. See the Refund Policy and Content Policy.
No report guarantee
Kitchen Reports combine automated scans and AI analysis through OpenRouter and a third-party AI provider, with source processed in isolated environments. They may contain errors or miss harmful behavior. Test and secure the code for your environment. A report or License record does not guarantee build success everywhere, security, non-infringement, fitness for purpose or maintenance.
Questions and mandatory rights
Nothing here removes mandatory consumer rights or liability that applicable law does not permit to be excluded. For purchase issues or questions contact [CONTACT EMAIL]. Proposed governing law and court: [GOVERNING LAW / COURT], subject to mandatory protections. Read the Terms, Privacy Policy and Cook Agreement.
